You know what they say about at age forty, one begins to fall apart? Well, it’s true. I darkened Andy’s doorway in the mid-nineties (actually, before I turned forty) and while it hurts (not literally) to admit it, have been a repeat customer ever since.
It began with a bulging disc in my lower back and has gone from there to a cervical fusion in 2000, to finally (hopefully), total knee replacement in 2007. In all instances, I have dealt with these issues with wonderful results. Regarding my knee surgery, which was done in Chicago, I did have a few sessions of physical therapy while in Chicago, and it was brutal.
Needless to say, when I did return FROM CHICAGO and visited Andy, I was terrified of what he may do to me, and, as strange as this may sound, I was concerned WHEN there was very little pain associated with his treatment. I thought that the old adage “no pain, no gain” would and should apply in this situation. Andy told me to do what he said, and everything would be fine. Well, I couldn’t be more pleased with my recovery(ies) and would (and have) certainly recommend(ed) his services to anyone.

I just wanted to drop a line to say thanks again for the wonderful treatment I received during my sessions. No kidding, walking in the door on the first day, I assumed I would lay on a table and get heating pads or ice packs and spend my time lounging around between manipulation sessions….boy was I ever wrong! Instead I got my butt handed to me in what I first described as my bi-weekly torture sessions. Facing limitations is tough and even tougher when you realize most of them were self-induced. What I gained was paradigm shifting life lessons, exercise techniques and the ability to apply my new knowledge to everyday challenges.
I can truly say that I’m extremely happy you did not meet my expectations but utterly crushed them! I will continue to push myself without “doing something stupid”!
Thanks again!
